In dit eerste hoofdstuk worden de algemene kenmerken van organisaties geïntroduceerd en wordt kort besproken wat er bij organiseren altijd te pas komt. Ook wordt ingegaan op wat wél en wat niet specifiek is voor non-profitorganisaties.
