Samenvatting
Vasectomie is een populaire methode van contraceptie, waarop 50-60 miljoen echtparen in de vruchtbare leeftijd wereldwijd vertrouwen. Qua prevalentie (11%) behoort Nederland tot de top vijf en is één van de weinige landen waar meer mannen dan vrouwen zich laten steriliseren.
