Samenvatting
De voorste kruisband (VKB), of ligamentum cruciatum anterius, hecht aan de mediale zijde van de laterale femurcondyl en het gebied anterieur en lateraal van het tuberculum intercondylare van de tibia. Bovendien bestaat er een verbinding met de voorhoorn van de laterale meniscus. De voorste kruisband bestaat uit een anteromediale en een posterolaterale band (1, 2).
