Samenvatting
Veranderingen in de concentratie van geslachtshormonen in het perifere bloed kunnen gepaard gaan met orale manifestaties. Bij mannen zijn de concentraties geslachtshormonen na de puberteit relatief constant, terwijl het leven van de vrouw gekenmerkt wordt door aanzienlijke variaties in de plasmaspiegels van deze hormonen.
