Zusammenfassung

Die tiefe Wundinfektion ist eine seltene, aber dafür umso mehr zu fürchtende Komplikation nach endoprothetischem Schultergelenkersatz. Die Inzidenz wird in der Regel mit Werten zwischen 0,4 und 2,9% angegeben (Tab. 1). Nur in Ausnahmen liegt die Inzidenz höher.
