Zusammenfassung

Die Behandlung des inoperablen Bronchialkarzinoms durch eine regionäre Zytostatikainfusion ist bei allen bisherigen Arbeitsgruppen (Tylen 1990) mit hohen Komplikationen bei relativ ernüchternden Ergebnissen behaftet, so daß diese Therapieform verlassen wurde. Verfeinerte Sondierungstechniken und weniger toxische Zytostatika sind zwar denkbare Ansätze zur Verbesserung; Ergebnisse, die mehr als einen experimentellen Einsatz an verschiedenen Spezialzentren rechtfertigen würden, stehen jedoch aus. Die Kombination mit abschließender Embolisation ist wegen der uneinheitlichen Gefäßversorgung vermutlich weniger aussichtsreich als die Kombination mit begleitender Strahlentherapie.
