Zusammenfassung

Die Psychiatrie ist ein Sonderzweig der Medizin. Die Berufsausbildung des Seelenarztes ist gleich der aller anderen Ärzte staatlich geregelt, seine Berufsausübung staatlich überwacht. Die Psychiatrie fügt sich jedoch nicht zwanglos in die Reihe der übrigen Spezialfächer, die entweder auf die Behandlung der Krankheiten einzelner Organe beschränkt oder durch die Anwendung besonderer Verfahren ausgezeichnet sind.
