Zusammenfassung
Mit Hilfe des Ultraschallschnittbildverfahrens und der Computertomographie (CT) ist es möglich, das Pankreas nicht-invasiv darzustellen und in seiner Lagebeziehung zu den benachbarten Organen exakt zu beschreiben. Damit sind die Möglichkeiten der morphologischen Pankreasdiagnostik bedeutsam erweitert worden [1, 2]. Beide Verfahren sind Schnittbildmethoden. Beim Ultraschallschnittbildverfahren entsteht das Bild dadurch, daß die Ultraschallwellen an sogenannten „akustischen Grenzflächen“ teilweise reflektiert werden, also dort, wo Gewebe unterschiedlicher physikalischer Dichte aneinandergrenzen. Die computertomographische Diagnostik ist ein Untersuchungsverfahren, das Röntgentechnik und Computertechnik verbindet. Im Gegensatz zum konventionellen Röntgenbild sind geringe Absorptionsunterschiede der Röntgenstrahlen mit Hilfe der Computertomographie quantitativ zu erfassen.
