Summary

The paper contains a report on the theoretical fundamentals of the extension of a computer program for geometrically and physically nonlinear finite element analysis of reinforced concrete shells to prestressed concrete shells, taking into account long-time deformations of the concrete and of the prestressing steel. The numerical investigation serves the purpose of demonstrating the capacity of this program extension.
