Abstract
We have recently identified and treated three patients with severe α-1-antitrypsin deficiency who developed progressive, destructive panniculitis. In addition, 3 patients with heterozygous, α-1-antitrypsin deficiency and panniculitis have been evaluated and followed after treatment was instituted. Therapeutic options for homozygous and heterozygous α-1-antitrypsin deficiency patients who develop panniculitis of varying severity will be presented.
