Abstract
The diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis is made by tests of pancreatic function as well as by demonstration of morphological changes. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) has been established as the standard procedure for defining pathologic findings in the ductal system [1, 2]. The main features of chronic pancreatitis in ERCP have been described in numerous studies and several grading systems have been proposed.
