Zusammenfassung

Im Sektionsgut der an malignen Tumoren gestorbenen Patienten findet sich zu 30% eine Metastasierung in die Lunge (Willis 1967). Gilbert u. Kagan (1976) fanden bei mehr als 20% der Patienten eine Metastasierung, die allein auf dieses Organ beschränkt war. Nierenzellkarzinome, Hodentumoren und Mammakarzinome haben eine besondere Tendenz der Metastasierung in die Lunge. Für Osteo- und Weichteilsarkome ist sie häufig das einzige Organ (Roth 1985).
