Zusammenfassung
Nach den Untersuchungen des Gehirns und des Spinalkanals hat sich die MRT des Haltungsund Bewegungsapparats seit langem als klinisch außerordentlich bedeutsames Indikationsgebiet der MRT etabliert. In verschiedenen Bereichen besteht bereits weit gehende Übereinstimmung hinsichtlich Indikation, Aussagekraft und Untersuchungstechnik. Dabei kommt die MRT meist in solchen Fällen zur Anwendung, in denen durch die herkömmlichen diagnostischen Verfahren keine definitive Abklärung möglich ist. Es entwickeln sich aber immer mehr Fragestellungen, bei denen die MRT frühzeitig in den diagnostischen Prozess einbezogen wird.
