Eine von 8 Frauen entwickelt im Laufe ihres Lebens ein Mammakarzinom. Große Tumoren (T3-, T4-Tumoren) über 5 cm, intlammatorische Karzinome oder solche mit Infiltration von Brustwand oder Haut sind mit etwa 10-20% eher selten.
