Abstract
Most of the discussion on Chinese market economy mode stayed in the representation, such as government-led and mixed economic model. However, the in-depth analysis of the reason for the formation of Chinese mode was rare. By means of cultural comparison and empirical analysis, this paper presents the reasons for Chinese mode. It analyzes and illustrates that it is the combined action of Chinese traditional culture, Marxism-Leninism, and Western free-market economic ideas that create the market economy mode with Chinese characteristics, namely the economic development mode with a variety of economy composition coexisting in the ownership aspect, strong government regulations at the macro level and sufficient competition from enterprise to locality at the microscopic level.
