Abstract
This paper summarizes the development process of a multichannel pipette with 96 interchangeable tips, destined to great capacity of sampling processing diagnostic laboratories that uses SUMA® technology.
Pipettes are essentialworking instruments in laboratories where blood samples and chemical reagents are manipulated. In this case, it refers to an automatic equipment, allows to execute the majority of SUMA® laboratory pipetting operations, where the 96 positions MicroELISA and UMELISA® plates are the most used containers.
In the work, technical requirements used for the development of the equipment are defined. The principle of operation of the obtained equipment and its main features are also exposed. Finally, the practical results obtained during the certification of a fabricated small series are showed. They represent a part of the information submitted to the State Control Center of Medical Equipment to obtain the registry of the multichannel pipette ERIZO 410 in the country.
