Abstract
With the rapid development of shape measurement technique, multi-resolution approach becomes one of valid way to improve the accuracy, to expend measuring range, to reduce occlusion, to realize multi-resolution measurement, and to increase measuring speed simultaneously. A multi-resolution system, which use light sectioning method and multi-sensor data fusion techniques, is developed and has been successful for blade of aviation engine measurement. The system is composed of four laser linear light sources, four cameras and three high-precision mechanical movement devices, has 3600 measuring range, and can realize multi-resolution 3-D shape measurement with different amplifying ratios of cameras. Also the measuring principle, the design of system parameter, an algorithm of simultaneous calibration of several cameras are presented. The result shows that the accuracy of the system is about 0.05mm for the sectional circumradius approximately 30 mm measuring range, and also proves the system is feasible and efficient.
