Abstract
As part of our ongoing study of the Fundamental Plane (FP) for cluster ellipticals we present here the Kormendy relation for the Abell clusters A1878 (z=0.254), A2111 (z=O.229) and A2151 (z=O.037). We apply our results to the Surface Brightness Test (SBT) for the expansion of the universe. Our final aim is to carry out this test using the FP for approx. 30 clusters out to z=0.3, see Kjærgaard et al. (1993).
