Abstract
During the past decennium, precision of radiotherapy treatment has increased with the implementation of highly-conformal radiotherapy techniques. The steep dose gradients of intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) demand precisely defined target volumes and margins.
