Abstract
Over the last six decades we have acquired a significant amount of informed knowledge on the nature and context of effective learning environments in schools, globally, with reference to the student’s identity, the self, motivation, performance, education quality outcomes, and some of the key factors affecting the students’ engagement, and their academic achievement. These are all relevant for implementing effective and positive environments in inclusive education.
