Abstract
This chapter analyses current research and knowledge in the teachers’ role in improving students’ engagement, well-being, academic excellence, standards, equity, and global competitiveness. It examines the teachers’ role of improving students’ motivation impacting on their educational outcomes, both locally and globally, promoting economic and social competitiveness, and academic standards.
