Engagement, Motivation, and Students’ Achievement

Abstract

In my new book, Engagement, motivation, and students’ achievement (2024), which adds to my previous books Globalisation, and dominant models of motivational theories in education (2023a), and Globalisation and inclusive schooling: Engaging motivational environments (2023b), I wish to focus more on major factors contributing to students’ engagement in educational settings, models of inclusive schooling that promote quality engagement, cultural identities and their impact on engagement in the classroom, the role of intelligence and its influence on students’ academic achievement, and the significance of social learning in students’ engagement.
