Abstract
Creative thinking on how education can best be innovated, soon lands at a dispute on values and fixed ideologies. The conceptual representations for stimulating learners to become aware of the larger constellations of prior knowledge are good candidates for educational designers. Trialectics offers a method to dynamize thinking in terms of lateral solutions rather than antagonistic polarities. Once developed by H. Lefebvre, it proved to be a lucid approach for conflict resolution and creative problem solving. As overall, the message is that educationalist should not hesitate to step into the learner position and reconcile ideas that stay polarized too often.
