Abstract
Vocabulary must be well defined to promote Syntactical and Semantic interoperability of cloud-based IoT (Internet of Things) architectures in order to develop applications for Smart City environments. Ontologies are used to represent knowledge within a domain, through them, it is possible to define and classify things, actions, features and relations among other aspects. This work describes the development of two ontologies, these are for traffic status and pollution status.
