Résumé
Darier est la figure dominante de l’histopathologie cutanée en France, dont la renommée atteint son apogée dans la première moitié du XXe siècle. Il a laissé un patrimoine scientifique majeur et figure parmi les plus célèbres médecins français, son nom étant quotidiennement employé non seulement par les dermatologues français et du monde francophone, mais aussi par ceux du monde anglophone. Le nom de Darier est connu principalement grâce à la maladie éponyme et au « signe de Darier ».
