Résumé
Les tumeurs neuro-endocrines bronchopulmonaires sont des tumeurs épithéliales exprimant une différenciation endocrine (1): architecture endocrinoïde, palissadique, trabéculaire, avec images en rosette. Bien que partageant des caractéristiques histopathologiques similaires, ces tumeurs regroupent plusieurs entités cliniques et évolutives distinctes, dispersées au sein de la classification de l’Organisation mondiale de la santé (1), et correspondant à quatre principaux sous-types: les tumeurs carcinoïdes typiques, de bas grade de malignité; les carcinoïdes atypiques, de grade intermédiaire; les carcinomes neuro-endocrines à grandes cellules, de haut grade de malignité; et les carcinomes à petites cellules, de haut grade de malignité (1, 2). Les carcinomes à petites cellules, fréquents (15 à 20% des cancers bronchiques) ne seront pas abordés dans ce chapitre (1).
