Abstract

Musculoskeletal microangiography, histopathological macrosection, and contact microradiography are widely used for investigation of the microvasculature and macro- and microstructure of bone, cartilage, and muscles. The usefulness of these techniques has been documented in the literature of orthopedic research as well as in the literature of radiology studying radiologic-pathologic correlations, histopathologic characteristics, and explanations of radiologic manifestations.
