Abstract
The osteoid osteoma described for the first time by Jaffe1 is a benign tumor of the osteogenic connective tissue, which occurs in adolescent or young adults, and which affects in decreasing order, the long bones of the lower limbs, the bones of the upper limbs and the posterior arches of the vertebrae.2,3
