Abstract

Thermal behaviour of the La0.9Sr0.1Ga0.8Mg0.2O2.85 (LSGM-10) single crystal structure has been precisely investigated in a wide temperature range of 12 to 1300 K by means of high-resolution powder diffraction technique using synchrotron radiation. The conductivity in two orthogonal directions of the crystal has been studied in temperature range of 300 to 1270 K. Thermal behaviour of the lattice parameters and the structure refinement data indicate two phase transitions in LSGM-10: at 770 K (I2/a — R3c) and in the range 870–970 K (R3c — R-3c). The behaviour of the AC conductivity conforms to the sequences of the phase transitions and agrees with the structural features of the different modifications of the LSGM-10.
