Abstract.

We fit the BeppoSAX data of the bright Seyfert 1 galaxy NGC 5548 using an advanced minimization algorithm to obtain a correlation matrix between the model parameters. The matrix allows us to assess whether parameters are univocally measured.

We discuss whether the cut-off and the reflection hump are needed in the data.
