Study of Climatic Stability of Polyethylene Based Electrically Conductive Materials for Fuel Canisters in Conditions of the North and Arctic

  • Published:
Inorganic Materials: Applied Research Aims and scope

Abstract

Field exposure of polyethylene electrically conductive materials that are intended for the production of reusable containers, in which fuel is delivered to northern and arctic regions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), was carried out for two years. It was shown that the developed material has the necessary climatic resistance, and its resistivity decreases, which is due to the occurrence of relaxational processes in its volume.
