Abstract

Gold placers of two streams that drain Permian dislocated terrigenous deposits overlying Cambrian metagabbroids and metadiorites in southern Sikhote-Alin have been studied. Fine crystals and grains of sperrylite, isoferroplatinum, cooperite, and submicron segregations of cuprorhodsite, rustenburgite, and an RhPtAsS2 unnamed phase are developed in the cavernous surface. They have been revealed in the fine-grained fraction of heavy concentrates of the gold placers by the Scanning Electron Microscopy method. It was concluded that the metamorphic rocks served as a source of fluids and platinoids, crystallogenesis of which occurred at the geochemical reduction barrier in the dislocated carbonaceous–terrigenous deposits of the overlying complex.
