Abstract
Lamb dip, which manifests itself in the second mixed derivative of the laser power with respect to the pump and the radiation frequency, is shown to be free from the main asymmetric component that stems from the Ne-22 isotope being present in the active medium. Double differentiation is realized by a synchronous detection of power oscillations of the standing wave at the sum frequency of the reference modulations of the cavity length and the laser pump.
