Key points
1. Fistula is a possible complication at any time after sleeve gastrectomy.
2. Gastropleural fistula may mix up with simple pulmonary infections.
3. In certain conditions, fistula resection, excision of the damaged stomach, and conversion to RYGB are applicable.
