Abstract
This article describes the case of a 57-year-old patient with persistent pain and restricted shoulder movement and a pre-existing congenital radioulnar synostosis (CRS). Radiological and magnetic resonance imaging revealed advanced centric omarthrosis on both sides with a large osteophyte and retroversion of the glenoid. The patient was treated surgically with implantation of a total shoulder endoprosthesis. The postoperative course was free of complications with good final results at the follow-up examination one year after surgery.
