Les auteurs rapportent une série de vingt polypes découverts au cours de 2600 gastroscopies.
Cette lésion tumorale bénigne représente 1% environ de toutes les tumeurs gastriques.
Leurs répartition est classiquement à prédominance antrale.
La biopsie doit être pratiquée systématiquement de manière appuyée et à la base d'implantation du polype. Trois biopsies ont montré la transformation maligne.
Les polypes se rencontrent à tous les âges et ont rarement une expression clinique.
La radiologie, malgré les sept critères de Moore, n'apporte pas toujours le diagnostic de tumeur bénigne.
La gastrofibroscopie permet de surveiller à intervalle régulier l'évolution du polype et grâce aux biopsies les indications opératoires deviennent plus nuancées.
Summary
The authors report on a series of 20 polyps found in the course of 2,600 gastroscopies.
This benign tumoral lesion represents one per cent of all the gastric tumors.
They are usually located in the antral region.
The biopsy must be performed each time, in a transmucusal way and at the base of the polyp. Three biopsies showed a malignant degeneration.
Polyps can be found with patients of all ages, and they rarely present a clinical aspect.
In spite of Moore's seven criteria, the X-Ray examination does not always permit the diagnosis of benignancy.
With gastrofiberscopy it is possible to control regularly the evolution of the polyp, and thanks to biopsies the surgical indications become clearer.
