Zusammenfassung
Es wurde die Wirksamkeit von Somatostatin bei experimenteller akuter Pankreatitis an Ratten untersucht.
Während die prophylaktische Somatostatinapplikation starke morphologische Veränderungen verhindertes, wiesen die nach Pankreatitisauslösung mit Somatostatin behandelten Tiere ebenso wie die Kontrollgruppen Pankreasnekrosen auf.
Summary
The effect of somatostatin was studied in acute pancreatitis in an experimental rat model. Prophylactic administration of somatostatin inhibted severe morphological changes. In cases of application after the onset of pancreatitis, necrosis of the pancreas was seen as in untreated rats.
