Abstract
We report on measurements of width and intensity of EPR lines corresponding to V4+ ion, which is located at the tetrahedral site of NaCa2Mg2V3O12 garnet. At 77 K the strange dependence of line-width on nuclear quantum number is studied. Results obtained are explained on the basis of inhomogsneous broadening of the resonance lines. Above liquid nitrogen temperature the spin-lattice relaxation contributes to the line-width. On the other hand, in the temperature interval 50-40 K saturation becomes important, so that at about 10–20 K signal becomes too weak to be detected.
