Conclusions
Laboratory developments and the production of trial batches of articles show that it is possible to make low-shrinkage corundum insulating bricks by dry pressing with stated properties and high performance factors without machine treatment after firing.
Implementation of the method using dry pressing will increase the output of the molding section compared with existing capacity for casting, lighten the working conditions, and lead to the mechanization of the production process.
