Die Massenspektren der wichtigsten Strukturtypen von Carotinoiden werden auf ihre charakteristische Fragmentierung untersucht und Zerfallsmechanismen an Hand von exakten Massenmessungen und Markierungsversuchen diskutiert.

Abstract

The characteristic fragmentation of the most important structural types of carotinoids is investigated and fragmentation mechanisms are discussed on the basis of exact mass measurements and labelling experiments.
