Summary
Convenient separation of a mixture of neutral and complex lipids was achieved by using an asymmetric polyimide membrane (M.W. cut-off : 35,000Da) with a high solvent-resistance prepared by a phase inversion process. A one-step ultrafiltration completely separated phospholipids from triacylglycerols with a high flux of n-hexane.
